Club History
The ‘Working Dog Club of Queensland’ is proud of its accelerated growth in the past 3 years, growing from a group of Confirmation enthusiasts into a Club that covers all sanctioned “Dogs Qld” Events.
Our Club has expanded into Agility and Jumper Trials; Obedience trials; Herding Trials as well as improved Confirmation Events. The Club has successfully applied for and been granted a Trade Mark “Dogs with Jobs” RTM which is the Name of all our Events. Our club has two big show events a year one in May and the other in October.
The “Working Dog Club of Qld” is affiliated with “Dogs Qld”, trading as the “Canine Control Council of Qld and our governing body is affiliated with “Australian National Kennel Council”. All show events are conducted at “Dogs Qld” Durack property which covers some 52 acres. This is one of the best Dog Showing facilities in the world, with excellent amenities for all members.
